Technical Sales Agronomist – Southern San Joaquin Valley Region, Salinas Valley and Coastal Region of California
Essential Job Functions To be successful in this fast-paced innovative company, you will work closely with our Sales Team to establish working relationships with key distributors, growers, and consultants, to develop and grow business, in the Southern San Joaquin Valley region, Salinas Valley and Coastal Region of California. In alignment with the Research department, you will coordinate and plan trials in the area and introduce and implement NutriAnalytics platform. You will train and educate NutriAg customers and growers on an ongoing basis and launch new products and technologies as they are developed. In addition, you will have the opportunity to assist in developing marketing plans with our marketing department to implement timely promotional plans for the area. Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a technical or agronomic role and the production aspect of all crops in the California region.
- Bachelor's Degree in agriculture or related field
- Computer literate with high competency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, or other data collection and analysis software
- Familiarity with basic aspects of product R&D, field scale product evaluations and demonstrations.
- Highly developed customer service skills with a proven ability to foster strong customer relationships and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Motivated, independent self-starter with results and solution orientation.
- Existing contacts within the dealer network would be a definite asset.
- CCA license preferred.

Marketing Manager – Crop Nutrition
We are currently looking for a highly motivated, creative individual to join our dynamic marketing team.
We have just successfully completed a rebranding and strive to continue to accelerate for growth in this global crop nutrient market. The successful candidate will report to the VP of Marketing and will be responsible for the co-development and maintenance of all technical marketing materials for a variety of media, including videos, print ads, social media, launch packages, brochures, and tradeshows. This individual will work closely with sales, the head of creative, product development and regulatory affairs and provide leadership to ensure their portfolio goals are met, while supporting the company’s overall strategy and direction.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Bridge the gap between technical information and marketing messaging
- Ensure consistent and accurate company image through all product lines, promotional materials, and events
- Develop print, social and digital media plans
- Analyze and interpret field performance data to ensure proper product positioning
- Lead the organization and execution of staff and dealer training sessions
- Work closely with Sales and R&D on new product launches
- Work to align teams on product concepts, marketing direction and product campaigns
- Content creation
- Contribute with the maintenance of the company website, media assets and other relevant resources
- Monitor competitive products positioning and marketing activities
- Participate in continuously improving the customer experience
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of bachelors degree or equivalent in Agronomy, Crop Production, Soil Science, Plant Physiology, Ag Business, Agricultural Communications, or related areas
- A minimum of 5 years experience
- Experience in planning and execution of marketing initiatives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of agriculture, plant nutrition and crop protection
- Proven sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization and execution skills
- Ability to travel 20% of time

The Regulatory Manager will report to the Chief Scientific Officer and will be responsible for all registration submissions and day to day regulatory paperwork.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Compile fertilizer (conventional and organic), adjuvant, and biostimulant submissions to various governments agencies (federal and international)
- Prepare and manage fertilizer product labels, ensuring compliance with applicable regional requirements
- Organize individual US State licensing and registration dossiers
- Verify submissions are in compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
- Review, interpret and apply the different federal, and other regional regulations to ensure products meet compliance.
- Keep all product related databases organized and up-to-date, this includes raw material sources
- Execute other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
- University Degree in Science, Agriculture or Regulatory field

Liquid Plant Operator – Toronto (Canada)
KEY OBJECTIVES
Reporting to the Production Manager the Plant Operator is responsible for:
- Hands on material handling with powder and liquid chemical batching.
- Creating good quality product in time for clients (powder and liquid).
- Labeling & Pack Product.
- Performing SG, PH, Weight checks and other Quality checks.
- Performing overall Quality control and Providing Production records sign-offs.
- Reading, understanding and following all methods of manufacturing. Provide ideas for improvement
- Performing routine Health and Safety checks of the production environment, and suggesting changes.
- Cleaning
- Driving Forklift.
- Loading & unloading trucks.
- Maintaining a clean, organized and safe production environment.
- Ensuring sure clients obtain good quality product in respect of deadlines.
- Maintaining good communication with the Lead-hand and other operators.
- Assisting in troubleshooting and supporting the Lead-hand through hands on knowledge.
- Maintaining the application of Nutriag’s policies, Health and Safety policies, and quality standards.
Your assignments may vary from time to time based on business needs.
Note: This position will be a 7am to 3:30pm shift.

Junior Process Engineer /Assistant Production Supervisor – Toronto (Canada)
The dual role reports to the Production Manager under the guidance of the Process Engineer, your job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Principal Accountabilities:
- Prepare, maintain and implement work instructions (WI’s) and standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
- Troubleshoot production problems
- Assist in project documentation; of scope, status, outstanding tasks, timelines and projected completion dates
- Assist execution of projects
- Verify the accuracy of production automation equipment and
- Verify the accuracy of production records and entries into Microsoft Navision.
- Perform time and cycle studies of all production processes
- Perform code review as required, such as Ontario building and fire codes
- Monitor and control operator training activities, documents, records
- Monitor and review automation production reports, follow up on any non-conforming results with production management
- Assist R&D project scale up’s and production trials
- Assist QC department with any investigations and quality reports
- Assist Production and Biolab as needed
- Identify opportunities in process improvement and resolve any issues
- Prepare periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested
Requirements:
- Bachelor in Engineering (Chemical/Industrial engineering preferred)
- Engineer in Training or P.Eng preferred
- Quality/cost conscious
- Must be able to troubleshoot processes and equipment
- Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
- Must be willing and able to train employees in their various job duties
- Must be hard working and willing to work hands-on in a chemical manufacturing environment

Job Duties:
- Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies and procedures.
- Participate in capacity planning and ensure that the day to day scheduling issues are managed effectively and keep management informed of scheduling conflicts
- Communicate information relating to equipment, scheduling, inventory, quality, health and safety to appropriate staff and management as required
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
- Perform, and ensure associates perform all required tasks and activities in accordance with established facility Quality Control Procedures (QCP’s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and safe work practices.
